“It’s really a daily devotional for that parent with a child overseas. One feature that I really like is that you can flip to any page and there’s something pertinent there,” - Bill Mick, News Talk 1240WMMB, Melbourne, FL, Bill Mick Live! Radio Show interview

Carol Channer’s devotional book is much more than a comfort to my soul! I can't wait to read more of it each day. Up until now I wondered if I was a normal human being, feeling and thinking the thoughts each day that come into my heart and mind. She has managed to put into words what has been going through my mind!

-Donna Space, (mother of a Marine who has done mulitple tours in Iraq.)

"The scriptures are just perfect. I believe they will resonate in the reader’s soul with God’s truth. The text is inspiring, and will nourish the mind. . . -Kathy Green (I.T. Specialist, Tupperware Brands Corp.)

I just finished reading Carol Channer's devotional, Strength for Today While My Soldier Is Away. I found it to be uplifting, inspiring, and insightful, while being down-to-earth and enjoyable reading. It would be a perfect gift to give to any family member of a soldier.  -Gail Pankey, (mother of a Coast Guardsman)

"I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for sharing your devotional book with me.  What a gift it has been! Just hearing from another mother's knowing heart is such a balm to my soul.  It has made me cry many times because in describing your feelings you were describing mine.  There was such comfort in knowing there was another mother who understood.  I know there are so very many, but we aren't usually gifted with actually hearing from them and being privy to them baring their heart. -Sue Stephens, (mother of a Marine who has done mulitple tours in Iraq.)

"Strength For Today While My Soldier Is Away brought me to tears . . . I love it." -Bev Houseman, Author
